Lots of people going to the shops before they close for the long haul. It seemed that way last weekend, when you saw the images of the big shopping streets in the country. But does the responsibility for this now lie with politicians (who simply had to implement the announced measures more quickly) or with citizens (and "their common sense", which is often referred to)? "A conflict between the individual short-term interest and the collective long-term interest", says psychologist Maarten Vansteenkiste. And again: "An accusing finger does not work."
